The work of Alberto Negrin follows a tradition of artists creating universes of varying scopes and dimensions.
Set designer, architect, town planner, draftsman, painter, Alberto Negrin is one of the multi-dimensional
designers of his generation, able to encompass various fields of creation, whether it be in the design of
theater space, shows direction, art direction, architecture, interior design, or the design of furniture and
objects. He innovates on magical theater projects combining design and art for the audience. His world is the
space where the laws of time and representation are the only boundaries. His projects combine tradition and
technology; they are truly dream-making machines and provide singular responses amounting to an actual
cultural testimony of their time.
He has received numerous awards for his work in the theater business. He has been acknowledged as the
Best Argentine Set Designer of the last decade, an award granted by Fundación KONEX, an Argentine
organization that honors personalities and works from the world of culture in all national fields of activity,
including the most highly reputed expressions.
At present, Alberto Negrin is working in the production and art direction of prominent shows and theater
plays, a work that also includes space design for these productions, in addition to various private or
commercial architecture projects.
